Muse-Creations for Our Forgive it Forward Giveaway – Because forgiveness and creativity go hand-in-hand for us, Ray and I thought it would be fun to spice up our 35-day Forgive It Forward project launch with a focus on the arts. So, we sent a call out to the muses among us for a little assist and some inspiration.

Between June 14th and July 19th, we introduced artists, sculptors, potters, musicians – and more – who forgave it forward with us by donating a gift for a random drawing giveaway. Each muse answered two questions and shared a little bit about their creative process and passion. We hope they inspire you.

Shellie Enteen: Astrologer & Aromatherapist

Shellie Enteen, RA, BA, LMT has been a practicing astrologer for over 30 years and an Aromatherapist since 1987. She is the author of several articles for trade publications such as The Mountain Astrologer, The Aromatherapy Journal and Massage Today magazine (which can be viewed online). She teaches nationally approved continuing education classes for Massage Therapists and a Professional Level Aromatherapy course. Shellie has lectured for the South Florida Astrological Association and teaches healthy lifestyle classes in several holistic modalities in her current hometown of Greenville, South Carolina.  View her monthly astrology forecast on her website www.astralessence.com.

So, tell us Shellie …

R&B: What does ‘Forgive it Forward’ mean to you?

SE: Forgive it Forward gives me the idea and feeling of recognizing that forgiveness is the only true response to events and circumstances in the world and in our lives and that we can choose in advance to forgive rather than condemn. It is a wonderful focus to join with because it accelerates the ability to forgive instead of react and condemn – and you can also forgive yourself for the times you do that!!

R&B: How do you feel astrology and aromatherapy enrich your life and help to heal our world?

SE: My twin passions, astrology and aromatherapy, work together to enrich my life by giving me guidance and understanding and providing many plant allies that enhance my experience and help with my physical, emotional and spiritual needs. I take these passions into the world as a teacher and practitioner because I believe that understanding the energies, principles and cycles astrology illuminates and being able to call on the properties of essential oils, both subtle and physiological, brings peace and healing to others, too.
