I love it! Bold contrasts are what chiaroscuro is all about. Look at contrast that the glass reflected here simply because of the light! Trippy. Thanks for sharing!

Today I saw a crow and rabbit playing together. I know that sounds strange but the rabbit would chase the crow, who would be motionless on the ground. At the last minute the crow would fly about 30 ft away and the hunt chase process would continue. This went on for quite awhile down the easement. Then I noticed something strange. The rabbit, when he broke into chase, would hold up at the last minute inches away from the crow. And when the crow would flee, he would only fly a little ways and land directly in the path of the rabbit. Took me awhile to realize, these two were playing tag. Both had plenty of opportunity to escape and flee from danger. If there had been any danger. In another time and in a different situation, I’m sure the results would have been different. But for today, they were just playing…tag….SQUEEK!

How neat is that? What a special moment to witness. 🙂 I once knew a baby screech owl (that a friend rescued from a construction site) that used to ride around on the back of her golden tabby. ” Seems “rules” are meant to be broken in nature, too!!

Image upon image upon image…amazing pic, B. Can you see the reclining pup? (Funny, I would have expected to see a kitty). The woman’s image (almost like a cameo) looking at Ray? The outstretched hand? I’ve often taken pictures and, when looking at the end product, discovered an image within an image within the picture that I hadn’t seen when looking at the raw scape…not a new image at all, but the spirit of the tree or fire or cloud that showed itself playfully when least expected.

Of course you do, Sharron. YOU are the mandala muse extraordinaire. You see what we often miss … until you share one of your mandalas with us!

It was fun playing with the layers. And you are right about images revealing themselves “after the fact.” Still looking for the reclining pup, though … Shhhh … we won’t tell all our kitties!
