I love the way this morning unfolded … even with the tears. They were full of gratitude in the ever so close guidance and direction. Feel free to share from whatever angle … raw is raw and raw is good sometimes 🙂

Oddly enough or maybe not, today was a Shellie Day for me. Similar to what you were feeling, not wishing to be obligated to any do-ing, but be-ing and following the call of my own inner guide. It was a great day but I must admit, the piles on my office floor would have preferred more structure. Tomorrow morning they will disappear like the mists at sea!! I did card readings for myself today but I do miss the Runes sometimes. They speak so clear…

Oh yes. Those parts. The ones we leave behind or locked up in a closet. And the excuses. There is always the question of the importance of our work. Not to ourselves, we know how important that is ,but what about to the world. Will our art be on display and loved by someone or not even make it out the door. And does it really matter. stuckintheglue Someone please sprinkle some glitter on me.

Bernadette, I came across this quite by chance and I am just thrilled at how you responded to my story. It is entries like this that fill my heart. Thank you so much for posting your interaction with my mermaid story. I have never used runes and would love to more about them. I am actually writing a longer version of the story – a novel in fact.

Let me know how you are doing creatively these days.

Hi Loretta! Not “by chance” … Perhaps a mermaid’s net? I thought to contact you about this post but a “little voice” said wait. 🙂 Your articles in Cloth Paper Scissors always inspire me and I am remiss in not telling you that before now. Guess I thought I should (oh oh there’s that word “should”) DO some art before I contacted you. Selfish of me now I realize because I know how nice it is to have the heart and soul of your work affirmed when it touches another. I am thrilled to hear that you are expanding your mermaid net story to a novel!! Truly, I cried when I read it, my dear. PLEASE let me know when you have it to share. I would love to read it and post a blog on it.

As for my art, it has been a slow process getting back but I am finishing up my first project now and will soon have pics to post. A very industrious altered book … hehehehe … if it’s worth doing it’s worth overdoing and making all your mistakes at once!! I am pleased with it, though, and it has been a JOY … with more ideas to come. Now it is a matter of scheduling studio time with life stuff AND major changes in the winds of my life so I expect my art will be reflecting that too. 🙂 THANK YOU for who you are and I am honored that you made the time to visit and comment! Blessings!!!
