The Forgive It Forward Project was part of the avalanche of ideas that rumbled in shortly after working on the Bernadette’s Pages book project video.
Ray and I came up with the idea. Juliette (web muse extraordinaire) and I came up with the copy. She presented me with a format to consider. Ray and I found the music. Juliette and I pieced together the photography and the pacing after which she applied her technical magic. This video took a couple of drafts to get to the “Voila Forgive It Forward” part but it was so much fun to do, we didn’t mind. (By the way most of the images are hers, the rest I purchased from a stock photo house.) Click on the YouTube video and start forgiving it forward!
A very special THANK YOU to Juliette Mansour of Casa Dresden for sharing her photography and her vision in the creation and production of this video – and for “connecting us with the big picture.” Could not have done this without her!
What is Forgive it Forward?
When most people think of forgiveness they look to the past. Past events. Past people. Past gripes. Forgiving the PAST is a lot of work. Tedious work. Painful work. That’s why we tend to push it to the back of the closet to be sorted and dealt with another time. BUT …
WHAT IF – We could sit back and let the the future handle it?
WHAT IF – One 35-second action could do the work for us AND encourage a change around the world?
What if we could FORGIVE IT FORWARD?
Watch the 3 minute video above to see how you can click your way into encouraging a positive change in your life, in the lives of those you love and in lives around the world.

I am forgiving it forward today.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if, before we got upset over something someone says (or we thought they said) or what someone does (or we thought they did), we could just say that it doesn’t really matter because we Forgave them Forward? Then the rest of our day might be spent enjoying our lives and those wonderful people in it!

The Forgive it Forward “Muse-Creations” Project
Whatever inspires the mind is of the perfume of my Beloved. Whatever fires the heart is a ray from my Friend. – Rumi
Because forgiveness and creativity go hand-in-hand in The Messy Room, we thought it would be fun to spice up the Forgive It Forward launch with a focus on the arts. So, we sent a call out to the muses among us for a little assist and some inspiration.
We introduced artists, sculptors, potters, jewelers, musicians, astrologers – and more – who forgave it forward with us by donating a gift from their craft for a random drawing giveaway.
Each muse shared their take on Forgive it Forward as well as a little bit about their creative process and passion. You will find them under the Forgive it Forward Muses category. We hope they inspire you! CLiCK HERE to meet the Muses!
